That Lonely Feeling

They always say that in Tagalog, "'wag kang magsalita ng tapos." I have just realized the weight of these words now. Now that it's hours to a new year, I am here alone in our two storey, two-bedroom apartment. Alone!!!!

I can still remember how happy I was during Christmas and told myself that there is more to come. Well, welcoming the new year alone is indeed something new. nyahahaha. But wait, don't pity me. Being alone does not mean that I have to bawl my hearts out. No way!!!

Even if everything is against me. Yes, everything!!! My mouse has suddenly turned into a clicking monster that things I'm not clicking on just pop out on my screen. Sheesh. Then, I found out that I am out of credit thus, I won't be able to answer txt greetings. Then, oh, that was all of it!!! I don't want to exaggerate. :)

Well, these does not stop me from having fun. For starters, I dressed up for the night. Like going out to a party. nyahaha. Ironed my hair dry (oh oh), put on a make-up (eye shadow lng), and wore black stockings. nyahahaha. I'll post the pictures tomorrow. And the best part is, I am dancing while writing this one, to the best of the 90's. hehehe. I know it's kinda strange, but I prefer the music of the 90's than Timbaland & Beyonce. heheh. HOW GEE and RAGAMUFFIN GIRL anyone???? (chuckle)

So, being alone is not that bad, really.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!
Hope this won't be a ratty year for all of us...

*note: This is my 100th post. weeeeeeeeeeeeee

Whooosh!!!

Friday, December 28, 2007 - 11:56 PM

I took a break from pulverizing my keyboard (heheh) and decided to iron my hair. While at it, Whoooossshhh!! It struck me, today is the 28th and New Year is indeed just around the corner. Whew! Tempus fugit. I tried to look back to what has happened in my life this year and realized that this year is the best. Why? Well, for the first quarter, I've shown improvement in my health. Evidently, I was then allowed by my parents to seek another job in Cebu, after making sure that I am fit enough. Now, I've got more that I wanted. I've got two jobs. I don't wanna brag but I am soooo proud of it.

Welcoming a new year won't be complete without your list of New Year's resolutions. I remember very well in my grade school years that I used to write a lot of things for our composition subject only to be disappointed that I have come to realize only two of the resolutions. hehehe. I know you people do this too. hehehehe

Now that I have just turned 24, they say that I should be more mature. Toinks! hirap naman. hehe. But I will try. So, here are some of the things I want to do in the coming year in no particular order because I don't wanna spend much time on one resolution for it will only make me forget about the rest. Ayt?

1. Lose Weight - nyahahah. I know this shouldn't be the number one on the list but admit it, we always gain a lot of pounds on holidays. Anyway, everything here is interrelated. I can only loss weight if I learn how to (check number 2)

2. Manage Time - yep, I suck in time management. I used to be so organized back in college, but I don't know what happened. I have to really consider this because I still lag at my production sometimes even though I only have to go to the office thrice a week. Also, I have been a Pansitan member for quite a while now and yet I haven't really made some editing to my site. heheh. It's sooooo plain. I hope I can find time for it though. waaaaaaaaa. I've got lots to do next year....*sigh

3. Be More Social - yep, I am a certified anti-social. I don't wanna be with a lot of people. I remember I used to tell my Mama not to invite a lot of people to my birthday. Strange? yep, that's me alright. In 2008, I wanna go out more often, be with people from all walks of life (char), and be seen. nyahahahah.

4. Be Less Demanding - now that I'm admitting it, I wanna say sorry to all my friends who were victims of my being a demanding person. hehehe. You may not notice it but I think I have this some kind of a power to convince people to do things my way. ngeks. I'm bad, I know, and I'm sorry.

5. Be versatile - nyahahaha. Sounds like I'm an actress. *chuckle. I'm talking about my, uhm, my image, my looks. Fashion sense kumbaga. hehe. I have been known by most of my friends to be the boyish type. You don't know how I felt when all of a sudden a lot of comments bombarded me just because I wore a dress on my 24th Birthday. Can't blame 'em because really, my usual get up is just plain jeans and shirt. I'm also a big fan of goth fad too. So, might as well be versatile. You know, a hot goth chick one day, rockista the next day and a sweet girla-lo sometimes. Anyway, I am full of surprises and I love to see the expression of other people's faces when they see me in something new... nyahahah

Ok, I'll stop here. I don't wanna make this list long heheheh.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!

Letting One's Hair Down

I am a certified scrunchy addict. hehe. Yeah, most of my pictures, you can see me with a headband plus a black scrunchy. hehehe. Here's a sample photo:

It has always been a tradition of mine to let my hair down on my birthday. A transformation is always on my list come December. Here's me, bagong paligo and on my way to tying my hair again, kahit basa. hehe. I purposely took this to do the comparison. nyahahaha.

And tadaaaa. Here's me with the new hair. Shinampoo lng yan. Weeeeeee. Happy birthday to meeee.....hehehehehe

hahaha. looks like a before & after ad for a shampoo. nyahaha. Well, I might as well enjoy this because for sure, come January with Sinulog just around the corner, it's going to be really hot and I can't let my hair down on those days...

*note: hirap pala pg maraming friends. heheh. just realized this one lately. Having been to three different companies, ang hiraaaaappppp...Then I have my bestfriends since college pa. So guys, I hope you understand. Anyway, there is always a time for us to eat out and partaaayy, even if it's not my birthday anymore. Tempus Fugit

Time flies indeed. 2 hours from now, I'm going to be 24. Whew!!! parang kailan lang. This birthday is very special. Why? Well, first things first. I was sick last year and I mean really sick. I thank God for allowing me to enjoy another birthday without any signs of health problems. He has indeed given me everything I wanted. I can remember very well how anxious I was staying at home for recuperation. Always thinking what will happen to my so-called career. I was too busy thinking about my future that I never realized that maybe, just maybe, my sickness was God's way of making me realize to slow down and take a look at life in another perspective. I know that because I am always on the rush. I haven't even thought about exploring new things after finishing college because I wanted to have a job and my own money. True, I got a job for two years and I was, lemme say, successful at it. But when I got sick, I felt like it was the end of the world already. I was a TAMBAY for a year and more and almost all of those days, I was really disappointed and even thought of euthanasia. Yeah! I did think about that. One thing is for sure, that period in my life has taught me to value time. Indeed, everything is well planned in God's time. Now, I've got two jobs. More that what I have asked for and I am so thankful for it.

Secondly, my friends here and abroad, who I haven't seen two years after graduation are coming. So it is going to be a birthday/reunion party. We had it earlier though because they have to go home to their respective provinces. It was really fun... Click here for more pictures during the party.

Here's me with the ladies. (moi, honee(my co-celebrator), daizyni, susie )

and here are the rest of us at PUMP; sans Jenalyn in Dubai and Hazil in Taiwan (we miss you guys)

It was really fun. Though, it was the first wild party I've been to. hehehe. Well, guess I'm ready now for more wild parties. You have to understand guys that I am a very late bloomer. In fact, this is my FIRST night out in CEBU. ahahah. Oh well!!! I'll end here...Looking forward to another reunion guys. Hopefully with Jenalyn and Hazil and hopefully before I go out of the country too. *sob

What Happened?

This is way tooooo late...

And yet, here I am trying to collect what has happened. I have been very busy last week.
Wait, let me look at the calendar first (brb, *wink)

after 10 minutes...

Sheesh, my last entry was dated December 12, and it is now the 17th . Five days straight and not even a single blog when in fact a lot of things happened. hehehe

Hmmm. I've been busy lately. But to my surprise, I have only done two things...tsk tsk tsk. I really should get my time management skills checked...

Here's my to-do list:

Christmas shopping - done!
work work work
Company Party - done!
work work work
Trip to the Parlor - planning, planning, planning
work work work
Bday Party - still planning and BUDGETING *sob
work work work

There is something strange going on. waaaaaaaaaaaa. Wish I don't have this second job even for the holidays. I am soooooooooooo under pressure right now. Have to beat deadlines and manage time so that I can still meet up with my long lost friends. *sob

My friends are now cursing behind my back, 'coz I no longer have time for them. I know.

I wish my boss will let me have a few days off. *sob

And oh, just so you know. I only had hmmm 28 hours of sleep last week. Now, I have three pimples conniving to have their own Bermuda Triangle on my face. waaaaaaaaaaaa
and my birthday is coming and I know I will look so stressed out...waaaaaa

Go Schumacher Go!!!

I am a fan of Michael Schumacher! Then again, who isn't? But the funny thing is, Schumacher was introduced to me by my 6-yr. old niece. Now that he's retired, it seems that he haven't lost his touch.

Here's one exciting update about this wonderful, seven-time champion. (found it at yahoo again, heheheh)

Schumacher, 38, flew into the aerodrome at the Bavarian town of Coburg on Saturday and took a taxi to the village of Gehuelz, 30 kilometres away, to pick up a new puppy - an Australian Shepherd dog called "Ed".

But when the former Formula One ace, plus his wife and two children, caught a taxi back to the airport they were short on time and, after a polite request, cab driver Tuncer Yilmaz watched in wonder as Schumacher took the wheel.

"I found myself in the passenger seat, which was strange enough, but to have "Schumi" behind the wheel of my cab was incredible," Mr Yilmaz told the Muenchner Abendzeitung.

"He drove at full throttle around the corners and over-took in some unbelievable places."
click here for the rest of the story.

Soooooooooooo great. I wish I was that cab driver, I won't mind the tip (though its mucho, heheh) Being in a car with Schumacher on the driver's seat is enough.

Something Extraordinary!!!

I always find it hard to find extraordinary gifts during Manito Manita. Why? Because what's extraordinary for me may not be extraordinary for my Manito. heheeh.

Anyway, thanks to Yahoo, I now have an idea on what to give. Read on!!!

Stumped about what to give that special someone this Christmas? How about some rhino poop? The International Rhino Foundation is auctioning separately on eBay four pieces of dung from the endangered species and will use the proceeds to fund conservation efforts.

The pieces come from four of the five types of rhino: white, black, Indian and Sumatran. The Javan rhino is so rare, a sample could not be collected.

Each piece is dried, mounted in a clear trophy case and marked with the type of rhino that produced it.

The auction ends Sunday and as of Thursday afternoon bidding had been light, with the top bid for Sumatran rhino poop standing at $500. Black rhino poop was standing at $255, Indian was at $250 and white was at $122.50.

Whoa! Hold it!! Am I reading this right??? Rhino Poo. Ew Ew Ew. Now that's something really extra ordinaire. heheh. Now I'm leaving you for the meantime, I'm off finding some dollars to buy those poo for my MANITO. *wink

bwahahahahhahhaha (evil laugh fading fadin fadi fad fa f ..........)

Now I'm Scared

I have this habit of looking at Yahoo headlines before signing in to my e-mail. Last night I've learned that on the 13th and 14th, there is going to be a meteor shower and though it happens yearly, it was supposed to be the best this year. I was intrigued and told myself that I am going to write about it. Due to my MAñANa Habit, I opted to write it this morning. The problem is, I can't find it anymore. hehehehe.

Now that I'm digging into Yahoo's deep archive of updates, this one caught my attention and sent shivers down my spine (char lang). Really now, I am getting scared...Here's an excerpt:
An already relentless melting of the Arctic greatly accelerated this summer, a warning sign that some scientists worry could mean global warming has passed an ominous tipping point. One even speculated that summer sea ice would be gone in five years.

I uttered, Oh God Pls. Don't!!! Imagine this, almost 70 % of the world's population live on coastal plains. Let's name a few countries, we have New York, the Maldives,Bangkok, and London. Now what will happen if all of that ice melts. I can't even imagine, I don't want to. The Philippines is going to be one of the many small islands that is going to be greatly affected by global warming. We won't be counting 7,107 islands anymore.

This is alarming! This is even scarier than "The Grudge," the movie that scared the bejesus out of me. It may be hard to convince a lot of people but I want to help too. If you are reading this then I beg you to take part in saving Mother Earth. There are lot of online communities that can educate you more on climate change. Be heard! Participate! For starters, you can visit www.greenpeace.org for more information.

Anger Management: Wish I Could Do This!!!

So ok, I am pissed AGAIN. So pissed that I wanna try this anger management thingy I found in the net. I wish I could. Aaaarghhh!!! I'm gonna buy one of those anger management dolls that you could strangle... someday... someday...

ANGER MANAGEMENT When you occasionally have a really bad day, and you just need to take it out on someone, don't take it out on someone you know, take it out on someone you don't know.
It all started one day when I was sitting at my desk and remembered a phone call I had forgotten to make. I found the number and dialed it.

A man answered, saying, "Hello." I politely said, "This is Chris. May I please speak with Robin Carter?"

Suddenly, the phone was slammed down on me. I couldn't believe that anyone could be so rude.

I tracked down Robin's correct number and called her. I had transposed the last two digits of her phone number. After hanging up with her, I decided to call the 'wrong' number again.

When the same guy answered the phone, I yelled, "You're an asshole!" and hung up. I wrote his number down with the word 'asshole' next to it, and put it in my desk drawer.

Every couple of weeks, when I was paying bills or had a really bad day, I'd call him up and yell, "You're an asshole!" It always cheered me up.

When Caller ID came to our area, I thought my therapeutic 'asshole' calling would have to stop. So, I called his number and said: "Hi, this is John Smith from the Telephone Company. I'm just calling to see if you're interested in the Caller ID program?" He yelled "NO!" and slammed the phone down.

I quickly called him back and said, "That's because you're an asshole!"

One day I was at the store, getting ready to pull into a parking spot. Some guy in a black BMW cut me off and pulled into the spot I had patiently waited for. I hit the horn and yelled that I had been waiting for the spot. The idiot ignored me. I noticed a "For Sale" sign in his car window, so I wrote down his number.

A couple of days later, right after calling the first asshole (I had his number on speed dial), I thought I had better call the BMW asshole, too.

I said, "Is this the man with the black BMW for sale?"
"Yes, it is." "Can you tell me where I can see it?"
"Yes, I live at 1802 West 34th Street. It's a yellow house, and the car's parked right out in front."
"What's your name?" "My name is Don Burgemeyer," he said.

"When's a good time to catch you, Don?"

"I'm home every evening after five."

"Listen, Don, can I tell you something?"

"Yes?" "Don, you're an asshole."

Then I hung up, and added his number to my speed dial, too.

Now, when I had a problem, I had two assholes to call. But after several months of calling them, it wasn't as enjoyable as it used to be.

So, I came up with an idea. I called Asshole #1.

"Hello."
"You're an asshole!" (But I didn't hang up.)

"Are you still there?" he asked.

"Yeah," I said.

"Stop calling me," he screamed.

"Make me," I screamed back.

"Who are you?" he demanded.

"My name is Don Burgemeyer."

"Yeah? Where do you live?"

"I live at 1802 West 34th Street, ASSHOLE!

It's a yellow house, with my black beemer parked in front."

He said, "I'm coming over there right now, Don. And you had better start saying your prayers."

I said, "Yeah, like I'm really scared, asshole."

Then I called Asshole #2.

"Hello?" he said. "Hello, asshole," I said...again, without hanging up.

He yelled, "If I ever find out who you are!"

"Yeah, you'll what?" I said. "I'll kick your ass," he exclaimed.

I answered, Well, asshole, here's your chance. I'm coming over right now."

Then I hung up and immediately called the police, saying that I lived at 1802 West 34th Street, and that I was on my way home to kill my gay lover.

Then I called Channel 9 News to let them know about the war going down on West 34th Street.

I quickly got into my car and headed over to 34th street.

There I saw two assholes beating the crap out of each other in front of six squad cars, a police helicopter, and a news crew.

NOW, I feel better.

Anger management really works!!!
